This book  -  2028 After the Apocalypse  -  was written in the year 2003 and published two years later in Iceland. Only the first chapter was changed when the book was translated into English.

The Author takes us to the year 2028, when few friends from different parts of the World come together and tell the story of the last 25 years as they see it. They had experienced such dramatic changes to life on Earth, that you would believe such things only happened in the fairy tales.

During the five years since the book was written we have heard the voices of scientists becoming louder and louder warning that the changes caused by global warming are now more visible than ever before and happening much faster than they had predicted.

The scientists know that drastic changes are taking place on Earth and they have tried to explain the possible consequences. But they have as yet not been able to imagine but only a fraction of the actual changes as they will be.

But after every night there is a day. There will be a long and cold night but there will also be a bright daylight when it is over. A small nation will take initiative to secure world peace, something that the bigger nations have not been able to do, because of their involvement in warfare all around the world.
